Osei-Duro meaning “honorable or noble medicine” was created by Maryanne Mathias of Vancouver and Molly Keogh of LA. They set out to create a one time experimental collection that evolved into a cutting edge clothing line, fully produced and dyed in Accra, Ghana. Applying traditional hand dyeing techniques and weaving with a modern twist and use of natural fibers. All of of their batik textiles are dyed by an artisan of the name Josephine and they work with several small factories to produce the clothing.
