Marrakech, a must see city and UNESCO world heritage site.

Jardin Majoreille in Marrakech is the Yves Saint Laurent's garden, there's also a Berber Museum inside. Stunning! Get up early and spend a morning here.

Terrace des Espices in the medina. Stop here for a modern Moroccan lunch or an afternoon tea. Great lounge-like rooftop atmosphere.

Places to stay

Hotel Tresor. (Either the hotel or the smaller annex). Both well designed. Great location for exploring the old medina and shopping. 

Quaryati Ecolodge in Ourika valley. This place is serene and spectacular. Set in a small village at the foot of the Atlas Mountains about 30mins outside of Marrakech. Daily shuttles into the city.
